A small (literally) personal piece I completed between book projects at the end of 2018βbut only now am I getting around to posting it. I’ve been muddling with the design of this character for years now, and every time I level up my art skills I like to have another crack at her. I’m pretty pleased with this one!
The character, by the way, is called Rhondi. She’s the same as the Volcano Kimaerha from my Environmental Kimaerha series, and the one I go to for all my fursona needs.
It was good to be back with my beloved prismacolor pencils. Working with them is time consuming, but peaceful and meditativeβalmost restorative. Without time pressure, they are by far my favorite medium.
