Hello all! The Professor Odd Season Three Kickstarter launched last Saturday, and every day this week I’m featuring a cover illustration from the book. These have been a long time in the making, and I’m excited to share them with you at last!
Today it’s the cover for Episode 13 “The Angels of Tyson 4”
The bunchy grass was thinning out, replaced by thick, waving stalks of wild oats. There was no path, but the dog broke a trail through the sea of plants, and Joy followed. The air grew warmer and fireflies rose twinkling into the light. They clustered around the dog, who shook herself and growled at them, then left and came to hover around Joy.

At first she was charmed. They were so beautiful and mesmerizing, the way they winked in and out of sight. Then she became aware of a high whining noise that got inside her head and made her teeth hurt. She waved her hands, trying to shoo them away, but they only returned, thicker and louder than ever.
“Leave her alone,” she heard the dog say, over the whining. “She’s not fully aware yet.”
Prints are currently available through the Kickstarter campaign as either full size posters or the mini print set. Original art is exclusively available as a Kickstarter reward.
