Hello everyone, and happy Year of the Rabbit! It’s a month late but worth the wait—I hope—to reveal my latest piece of original art: Year of the Rabbit, 2023 or She Who Sways the Seas:
As I was creating this piece a poetic affirmation came to me, and it goes as follows:
She who sways the seas and encircles the world
Year of the Rabbit, 2023
has come to reclaim what is hers
Follow the moon-rabbit, and reclaim what is yours:
Truth, time, identity, history, potential, pride
Power
Let the past swell and carry you forward
for the future is as wide as the sea
As merciless and full of opportunity.
For those interested in having this art on your wall: I’ll soon have signed photographic prints available from my online store, but I’m offering friends and CSA-family the chance to order a limited edition giclée print. These will be 26”x14” and include the poetic affirmation, as well as being signed. If you would like one just send me an email. They are $77 plus shipping (probably another $10 or so) and you can pay via credit card, google/apple pay or mail me a check. If you’re in Bend, OR we can even arrange an in person hand off.

I plan to make the order on April 5th so preferably let me know by next Tuesday evening if you want one. Again, a simple email is all it takes—we can work out the details after.
