Hello all! The Professor Odd Season Three Kickstarter launched last Saturday, and every day this week I’m featuring a cover illustration from the book. These have been a long time in the making, and I’m excited to share them with you at last!
Today it’s the cover for Episode 16 “Flight of Xifoptero”
For all the journey ahead of them was daunting, and the success of it still in jeopardy, no sign had they seen of Colonizer activity. Not since the scout plane had made a wide U-turn and streaked off to the south. All around them was the gusting wind, and the grass shuddering over the empty plain.

They might have been the only living land animals on the entire planet.
“Have you ever done anything like this before?” Tunú asked Janet.
Janet gurgled inside her suit. She was sitting on her rear segment, all eight stubby legs stuck out in front of her, while she used the middle pairs to work the pump.
“Undertaken a perilous journey with an uncertain destination? Yes, long ago.”
“What happened?” Tunú asked, seeking some reassurance.
“Many things. It is not finished yet,” Janet said.
